Brian sat at his desk, silently taking note of his fellow classmates. Most of them were present, but that one girl… Flos, was it? She was still missing. Brian chuckled. The young woman slowly awakens from deep sleep. Her eyelids flutter, shaking away the dreams around them. Her eyes focus warily, taking in the unfamiliar room around her. Lavish furniture decorates the space, complete with the ornate chaise upon which she currently lies. Her dress is fit to match along with the accompanying diamond jewelry. The woman blinks. High above the streets, the princess sat on a window ledge, the moonlight glistening upon her garments. Though the night was silent, she began to sing an ancient tune common to her people. The sound floated above the castle walls and off into the deep night. As she sang of her regrets, a few tears slid down her cheeks and stained the veil before her eyes. Once upon a time, there lived a princess who had been graced with overwhelming beauty. Upon her birth, the kingdom rejoiced, and many people came to offer gifts and praises.
